New Experiance Mb Wat A Car
Well I Just Bought My Car From My Uncle This Past Weekend. I Was Driving From Work And The Car Died On Saturday. I Took It To The Dealers It Took Them Four Days With The Holidays And Everything To Get Back To Me About The Car. On Tuesday I Find Out That The Alternator And The Battery Are No Good. That Costs $1300 I Said Ok Because It Was My Fault For Taking The Car To Pepboys For A New Battery A Few Days Prior. Now I Just Got A Call From Them Telling Me The Rear Sam Is Gone Bad That Is Another $470 On Top Of The $1300 I Already Spent. I Bought The Car For $10500 And Thought I Was Getting A Really Good Deal Final Price Comes Out To $12300 And I Thought I Was In The Clear That Is Only The Beginning. Mercedes Benz Was A Car Besides The Mods I Have To Worry About The Little Stupid Things Like The Alternator Going Bad.

with benz, I won't take the car to pepboys. Remember even with changing the battery, if they don't it correctly, the rear sam will get burned. i rather take it to one of those independent mb shop.

no man its not like that he has all the paper work from the dealers where he got it serviced all the time, he was the original owner its my stinking luck and also i think i have to get another job and quit school just to support this stinking car

I went to Topline Automobile in Burlingame, CA or ...... for some OEM add on extras I usually order them from Steve, MbenzNl! Great car! Well I use this car a lot so ...... cant be happier! Rather than driving a Honda!

its not that iam saying its a bad car, from new when my uncle bought the car he had no kind of problems just the regular mantainces breaks and tire nothing other than that. what pisses me off is that the first day i got the car so happy that after months of waiting i finally got it and it brokes down on me in the middle of the high way and it was not that cool out either so that plus the cost of repairs. it got me a little hot and bothered but iam sure that it will not give me any other kind of problems I hope lol

I'd guess grade school from the grammer, and spelling of this post.
None the less, bummer about getting off on the wrong foot with the car.
$1000 for an alternator seems to be the going rate, though you can save a bundle by RRing the alt yourself, and taking it to an auto electric shop for repair or just replacing the brushes and voltage reg. yourself which is usually all that goes bad.
