Can't find aux input harness plug

San Arthur, I talked to steve, the mid cable for the aux is actually part of the nav harness cable. we will need to purchause that for around 30 euro at our usa dealership. however, there really isnt a part number for it so it looks like our friendly usa dealers probably won't be able to order it for us.

not all '07s, i installed an aux input in my c230, maybe they changed something on the newer models, only options i have are sunroof pkg, and cd changer. But i did have to dig under all the wires to find the connector.

did you have to go as far as the pics i have in the above posts to find the plug? i pretty much ripped everything out including wires in the back of the HU.

I purchase the iPod integration kid. I will try to install it myself this weekend. I asume the dealer will need to activate it somehow, m I right?

i dont know but hey, the ipod kit is far better than just the aux cable. more $ but you get to charge the ipod and use the steering control and stuff. let me know how it turns out...

I purchase the Ipod kit and istalled myself in 2 hours and 4 beers!!
The dealer activated the phone at no cost. It's worth every cent, now if I just could keep my eyes away from the instrument cluster....

Bought the aux input
hey guys just to let you all know, i purchased the aux input myself. according to twista's theory, i should have the wire there b/c mine says aux input active . i ordered the part A 210 440 50 05 64. hopefully i should receive it this week. It was 45 dollars here in south Texas. i will post pics on my 07 c230 for step by step instructions. One more thing, Twista, the wire should be on the passenger side right ? I just have to remove that panel ? thanks

could not find aux input harness on '07 c230
I have a new 2007 c230 and after following the threads on this forum i got the cable and opened up the right door sill, a-pillar but could not find the aux input harness to connect the cable. looked at all the cables but still could not find. Also when I hold the cdc the display shows aux input active. I guess the newer c230's don't have the aux-in harness ... out of luck.
