your warranty is not voided unless the manufacturer can prove that the after market part caused a failure.

That's a nice theoretical answer, but in the real world, any dealer can void your warranty for anything aftermarket, and then you'd have to take them to court.
So, you take your car's warranty's life (and your future legal costs) in your hands when you do any mods when it's still under warranty. It's not fair, but that's not a word that can be used often in the dealer vs. owner biz.

yes, any dealer can flag your car as having been modified, but it's a Benz, any problems you have will be electronic/electrical not suspension.
