Why does the air conditioner smells like gasoline?
Ever since i had the Kleemann Headers installed, i've noticed that i'm falling asleep behind the wheel. Today is the first time i carried people in the car since i had the headers installed and they smelled gasoline when the air conditioner was on. Now i know why i've been so tired lately behind the wheel. The smell of gasoline is absent when the air conditioner is off but present when the air conditioner is on.
My question is, do i have a faulty header or it wasn't installed properly (not tightly bolted)? Any suggestion would be great, thanks!
Also, the smell of gasoline from the outside is more noticeable once this header was installed.

that sounds incredibly dangerous man...if you can smell gas, chances are that more than gas fumes are gettin into the compartment. you know that one colorless, odorless, toxic fume that cars make....CO!!! dude, you are falling asleep because of carbon monoxide poisoning!
drive with the windows down, for god's sake man! and take it in to get fixed. that is not at all safe...obviously there is some sort of leak from the engine compartment that was created when you got the headers done, perhaps its only into the AC though, which is a bit better.
the only reason you are only smelling the gas is because CO is odorless...but much more dangerous!!
maybe when albert was cutting **** up he nicked an AC line? maybe the headers arent bolted tight enough? maybe a combo of the 2?
PLEASE.....Don't drive the car with a smell of gas. Pay the two dollars and have it taken to the shop on a flat bed. You don't want to be in a Car-Be-Cue on Diamond Bar Blvd.
There should be no oder of gasoline from a faulty or leaking header, but that could be the source of the Carbon Monoxide that might be making you sleepy.
It could be possible that something was disturbed in the fuel rail causing the gas leak. It may not be so strong in the cabin with the AC off because the blower is not drawing air from just above the battery. I would be very concerned with drawing gas fumes into the AC intake. The brushes in the blower motor arc when operating normally and could be a source of ignition for the gas fumes.
atleast leave your sunroof open when your driving.
Even if your headers was not tightly bolted, you would smell the "exhaust" kinda smell. and you'd lack power if the headers was not tightly bolted.
it might be something else. like you said, only when the "AC" is on, you have this weird smell. Maybe you have a leak somewhere.
When I had my evosport UDPS, there was a "new belt smell" which was this tingy rubber-ish burning smell from under the hood. but it went away after 2 weeks.

For me, I'd say before going to the dealer or whatever,
just check the tightness of the nuts and bolts yourself.
My stock manifold used to stink, and it turned out to be some loose nuts on the
manifold.
With the SS header, it seems ok, but i do get a little exhaust when it's first warming up, which I think comes from the point where they connect (it's a 2 piece assembly) which I did not get welded as this would make it impossible to
remove from the vehicle.
Once it's warmed up and the metal expands, it seems to be fine,
and I had the connections under the car welded.

That's most likely exhaust fumes.
Headers = exhaust fumes in the cabin. Did you re-tighten the headers after having them installed by TWS?
Forgot to mention something. The smell of gasoline is quite strong from the outside of the car. Also, when the air conditioner is on recirculation, the smell of gasoline is no longer present in the cabin. Anywho, i'll keep you guys posted when i get back from my vacation.

It's exhaust fumes.
Like I said earlier, headers = exhaust fumes in the cabin. The headers sit right next to the air cabin filter. I'd be surprised if headers did not cause any excess exhaust fumes to leak into the cabin.
Having a similar problem, car just got back from Indy after an A service. I drive the car for a couple of KM's with a/c fan on. Smell of gas coming in through the air vents inside the cabin when the car idles at a stop. As soon as I drive off again the smell is gone. Never had this problem until the car was serviced.
Popped the hood, and there's a thingy between the engine and firewall (see image below) from where smoke is been emitted from the nozzle. There's no pipe attached to the part below and smoke comes out directly from the nozzle.
Please help, I'm planning on taking a road trip on Thursday this week and wouldn't want to kill myself and my family inhaling gas fumes and also wouldn't want to cause any damage to the motor.

That looks like a crankcase vent valve. If soit TN should be connected to the intake manifold or throttle.
