2005 cd player question

hey guys, i have a 2005 clk, it has the same stock radio (non navi) so i thought id get a quicker response here. The cd keeps getting stuck in the player and when i click eject it says ejecting disc but it doesnt come out. I took it to mb dealer i got the car from and they said that its because i am using aftermarket cds (cdrs). I thought this was bs since almost everyone nowadays uses them. they fixed it and charged $100 for it (even though the car is still under warranty) Well it happened again after my bro put a cdr music cd in there. My question is.... is it bs what the service advisor told me? sucks that i cant put cdrs in the damn thing.

I can understand it if the CDR won't play, but I don't understand why it would not eject unless it was warped. So what I would do is ask for a meeting with the MB zone rep. Unless there is a warning about using CDR media in there, they have to honor the warranty. I thought your year car can even play mp3 files which would obviously mean a CDR. If MB says no, then just get a small claims lawsuit going, it will never go to trial because the zone rep is not going to waste a day in court for a $100 repair.

There is a warning about putting in CD-Rs in my owner's manual.

I have a 2005. And as far as I know, the HU nor the 6 disk changer will play mp3s. Am I mistaken?
