Mp3 support in 2007 C230
Does anybody know if stock CD player in 2007 C230 can play CDs with MP3 files?
The brochure says that "AM/FM stereo/ weatherband radio. In dash single CD player with MP3 capability" is standard. However the manual says (page 202) "The single CD player play audio CDs, the CD changer can play audio CDs as well as CDs with MP3 files." I don't have CD changer installed, just the basic MB audio.
When I insert a CD with MP3s I'm seeing "Track 1" on display and nothing else happens. Please, advice!

i've heard of both man. i guess it depends on how much your dealer wants to charge Mercedes back for the service. hahahaha. so just tell them your problem and as long as they get you what you are looking for, new deck or firmware upgrade.. it doesnt really matter.
