How to change Rotors
Does anyone have the couple of pages from the shop manual that explains how to change front rotors available?

By keeping the same pads you are going to inherit the wear pattern of your current pad/rotor combo. The wear pattern on the pads could significantly impact both the performance and longevity of the new rotors.

I was planning to do that of course. I did brake jobs on Acura RSX and Miata and was wondering if there are any pit falls I should know about in doing this job myself.

Nothing special about the MB brakes. If you've done it on other cars you'll be fine.
The rotors might be fused on the the hub if you had the OEM pads on. A few whacks with a hammer will loosen it up.

There's a screw that you have to remove that holds the rotors in and of course there's the caliper bracket that comes off. The screw may come out easy, may need an impact screwdriver. Expect the rotors to be fused in place with rust. Spray liberaly with penetrating oil in the hub area and be patient, they do come off. I know a few hard whack will work but that can put stress on the bearings. You can use a heat gun or propane torch to soften the rust, just don't burn the wheel bearing and don't set the car on fire, haha. It may pay to rent or buy a puller. Clean the hub well and use a very thin coating of antiseize paste around the hub to make it easier next time.

Ensure that you have the correct size Torx drive on-hand, for removing the rotor from the hub.
Otherwise you'll have to borrow a friends car to go the Sears to get the right tool. (as yours will already be up on stands, with all wheels off . . . spoken from experience)
Otherwise it's very straightforward. If you've done brakes before, you won't have a problem.

Just buy a set. You'll need them for any future repairs to this car as well as
inverted torx, which are sockets, exactly opposite of the torx bits.
I bought both sets at Kragens for about 15 each I think, and Craftsmen makes sets too, which of course are better quality for about 25 or 30.
