It took me 4 hours of buffing with a drill and mothers aluminum mag polish to take my frosties from yellow to clear, but the cracks are in the plastic---Im going to find some Bix when I have frivilous money to waste again!

If I remember correctly, the clear plastic depends on a clearcoat added during manufacture to keep the UV rays from turning it yellow.
If you buffed your lights from yellow to clear, you might want to spray a layer of UV-stabilizing clearcoat on it before it yellows again as obviously that layer is completely gone.

Buffing frosty lens
I think i'm gonna buff my frosties from yellow to clear too. i wanna see the outcome of it. it might look cooler and nicer in some way specially with chrome reflectors. those turn lights inside the headlamp would even stand-out as it is a lamp within a lamp with a different color from the chromed reflectors. i'm not really worried about the light being randomly diffused because i'm still using the same original lense . it's just that its clear but unlike the clear lense of the '05 model. it is clear but still with the pattern light setting lines on the lens so as to somehow still control the light diffusion. no harm in trying! one guy did it already.
