Binding/rattleing noise from rear area

Binding/rattleing noise from rear area
My dealer finally found and corrected the noise problem in the rear of my car. The smallest bump or just turning a corner would cause it.
With a driver and a Tech sitting in the back they located the noise to be coming from the plastic molding around the rear window. The Tech ordered a complete replacement and it was installed today...........Walla....the noise is gone.....
What a relief...........this noise in an otherwise quiet car was driving me nuts..........

I guess not...........XM still on backorder and have not yet received Audio 10........But I like having something to look forward too.

Yeah............sometimes it sounded like a clicking noise......other times a binding noise and sometimes a rattling noise........All traced to the plastic molding......
One post quoted a guy as saying his dealer lubed the hatch. What he meant was that they put some anti sweak on the rubber molding around the hatch. They did that to mine car also.
In all the dealer was great.........
