Question Braking

When I try to stop slowly (step on brake pedal slowly which I do that most of the time) I can noticebly feel tention/pressure being released from the brake or the car. When I try to make a sudden or quick stop I feel less pressure being released from the brake. I heard this is something call compression brake and it is normal. Anyone experienced this? Any feedback?

well since the throttle is ECU controlled. I guess maybe if the car thinks your coming to a complete stop, it will only give the car enough gas not to stall thereby making it feel like it is releasing pressure.
Could and probably way off here.

Good info. It feels like the brake is winding down to complete stop and I can definitely feel it .

got another question. in auto c coupe when i hit the brake quick for complete stop it wobble back and forth quite a bit (i'm familiar w/ laws of physics but this is like stop then wobble forward, back, forward, back), this also happen when i put car in park (quickly). Is this normal for a Benz? I've had rental big Buicks do this but didnt expect it on a Benz. Is this due to high center of gravity? soft springs? any fix (other than lower the ride)? Thanks.
