Oil Change
When do you know when you should go in for an oil change on a C320? I heard that mercedes models made after 98' will tell you automatically on the computer when you should go to service, is that right?

Yes, it's called FSS - Flexible Service System. You can select the service "page" via the steering wheel controls to view the mileage left until the recommended service. It will tell you service "A" (minor) or "B" (major) as needed. If you don't manually check on the service screen, it will display the information when you get close to needing service.
(Now we'll get the other messages about whether people think you should wait the approx. 10K miles for oil change. But I think this answers your actual question

some think its a good idea to change new car sooner
Many think its a good idea to change your oil after the first 1000 miles on a new car. There are lots of reasons why this is a good idea, the biggest being that all the loose pieces of stray metal that come out in a new engine can get dumped quickly so as not to harm the engine. Well it certainly doesnt hurt. I have always done it on every new car Ive owned, especially this one. The computer in the car doesnt always go every 10K. It goes when it thinks the oil is dirty or losses viscosity (spelling). I have about 2K on my car and it says I need an oil change in 8700 miles. Since I have not ever reset the oil change marker, it should say 8000. Go figure.
