I have an 03 C230SS that is in the dealership for a malfunctioning driver side window switch (expless up stopped working) and to replace the instrument cluster due to fading letters under high Texas heat. Luckily this will be covered under warranty.

Has anyone who had their cluster replaced, had problems with the new one? Can I expect better/updated looks with the new cluster?

 

I had my instrument cluster replaced on my 2002 c230 coupe a couple of months ago. It was covered under the extended warranty. It works perfectly now, the biggest difference with the updated cluster is that it tells me if the sunroof is open after turning off the car and opening the door. That's the biggest difference !!
