How to tell if C350 is equipped with MHI?
I just bought a '06 C350 and was wondering what I needed to be able to use the handsfree phone controls in the steering wheel and stereo. I read that the MHI doesn't include a cradle so I bought one, but when I went to install it, there was no contact plate in the armrest. I bought the car used so I don't have a window sticker and I don't know which options it has. I am pretty sure if has the 320 Entertainment package because it has the satellite radio, harman/kardon, and cd changer, so it should have the phone pre-wiring. How do I tell if my car was equipped with MHI? Is there a plate that lists the options somewhere in the car?

all 2006's came with "Phone pre-wiring" but this is NOT the MHI kit. If you have the MHI kit installed, you will have the contact plate in the armrest.
