I can't believe I'm requesting this info via MBWorld.

What is the primary Chinese dialects spoken in Taiwan ?
Mandarin or Cantonese ?
And is there a local Taiwan-only dialect of Chinese ?

I know there are quite a few W203 / CL203 owners with ties to Taiwan, so that's why I ask here.

jk...it's Mandarin and there are few sub dialect in Taiwan. There's the Taiwanese, Hakka, and few others I don't even know how to translate into English.

I'd post silvac32/Jerry's car lol...he ported it back to taiwan.

But for 2007 there are only 60 W204 that are being test selling. At least that's what I read on the commercial while I was in Taiwan. Still nice though.

I think there were 3 sets of the Championship LM's made for the w203 (from what I remember Jose saying).

I'm kinda disappointed with the Rush Hour 3 previews. Hopefully the movie is better overall than the promos.

those ain't champions. There were 3 sets of the original champion LMs for the w203 until BBS Japan reintroduced them for another short 4 months production run.

RH3 weren't too bad...but will probably only watch it when I movie hop. lol watched The Simpsons...OMG it's awesome.

It had to be work related, it couldn't be because of the new Taipei 101...

You don't want to drive a car in Taiwan, the cars cost 2x their cost here and the traffic is terrible (reduces enjoyment of driving). Taxis are also very affordable in Taipei (although not nearly as cheap as the taxis in Malaysia or Thailand).

we mainly speak mandarin and taiwanese. it depends on where you are though. im assuming since you're working, you'll be in taipei so you'll do fine with just mandarin. south taiwan speaks a lot of taiwanese though.

i work in taipei right now too when are you coming? if you've never been here before, beware the crazy scooters!!
