I am sure Mr Sunman will say "the dealer will make a connector"... as he is the master "make" and do what is necessary to make things work ... however... hmm... the connector has an specifc male-famale adapter... so wiring each little wire will probably be more expensive... if possible than just getting the right part No.

Just wait until you get all your parts, chances are you will see that you worried about nothing; if the parts had the short connector AND they were shipped with their corresponding wiring harnesses.

I will post later on the pictures of the other set I have which have the short connector and additional harnesses.

No, my cable came from Steve. He said he had 2 versions, one with and one without. I ended up needing the cable, which he shipped to me.

I think he said most 02s dont need the cable, the rest do...not 100% sure though.

I didn't say the fusebox needed to be removed...I said that the fusebox COVER needed to be removed after which the clips that hold the headlight switch can be unclipped from behind (after the torx20 in the bottom of the switch is removed offcourse).

As mailed, douglas, please be calm...the mirrors I send out always come with wiring up to the control unit in the door (except for tifosiv's set - but he got the adapter harnesses shiped later as well)...in your case you will have 2 adapter harnesses to put aside...

i dunno, when i tried to have the norway setting activated on my car they needed the step by step instructions which i needed to provide. i provided and got it set!

your telling me. thats why i no longer go there, aside from the crappy honda rentals, slow service, long wait for appt's, and not very good service. that and i dont live in san diego area anymore!

when i was at the dealer, i used the DAS system and the auto folding feature was not in the Door Control modules or the Insturment cluster settings. You may have to look elswhere. THere are several modules in teh car. I think the DCM module has this feature according to Mark.

well time will tell. when i take my car in for the programming ill see if they can atleast track what needs to be done so it can be posted for further use. i may go to wierdermanns dealer, or maybe penske in claremont. mbtech208 works there, maybe he can help. ill ask them to check the DCM as Mark said.

There is a good chance that my dealer "may/will" charge you, and charge they do very sweetly when they want... (I am a customer and I complain a lot... but I don't know if using "that" technique will get "your" auto folding frames programmed)

Do they make kits for these for the W208? I'd love to get some. Does it have an auto feature where the mirrors fold in when you turn off the car and they fold out when you turn it back on?

that feature must be set thru the MFD and activated thru the StarComputer. Wiedermann has his activated.
