Nice! How much total for the whole thing? with the clear lense assembly I suppose, (you did not keep the frosties right?). Got tired of saving for the bix since I spend on other things (detailing product lately) before i reached the 1500. I didn't like hid at first but I'm leaning toward this option.

These really illuminate pretty well imo. I was told anything below 6k and anything above 8k the lighting is not very effective. 6,7,or 8K sholuld be the best for optimum road illumination. I get hi beamed sometimes by other drivers because I guess they think my high beams are gleaming in their face

Anybody have any experience with condensation building up in their headlights? More specifically anyone ever taken apart the lens from the headlight housing? The headlights I bought off a member a while back did not come with any weather caps and ever since I changed my HIDs, condensation has been building up and staining the inside of the housing with water spots (I had to order new caps from MBSD). Just wondering if its possible with these headlights to remove the lens from the housing. I might even take the time and paint the bezels while im at it.
FYI, I have tried searching and the best answer was to take out the bulbs and drive around until the engines warm up drying the condensation that way

idk if this is the same as what you are talking about.......but,
I though you get condensation in the housing when the seal is bad. So....I would say take out the headlight, put it in the oven, open it up (and paint er w/e if you wanna), the seal it up correctly

Yeah im gonna do it as soon as I get a couple friends together. I can either do it with a hair dryer or oven. What temp would you use in the oven? I hear 130 for like 4 mins should be sufficient.

you obviously don't want to cook the sh*t out of them
if a hairdryer works I would do that....it would be easier

NEW MOD Been hearing good reviews on the sprint booster (Midnightkompre to be exact) and decided to get one off MJ888, thanx again I have only been driving with it on for 20 minutes and I can honestly say it FEELS like a whole different car. Hasn't gotten faster by any means but the throttle response is to die for
It also feels like it has extended the gear ratio a bit especially from 1st to 2nd and from 3rd to 4th, I have had to shift a lot later than normal I love my car more than ever now or at least for the time being lol. If you don't want to get an ecu right away, this is a pretty good alternative. No horsepower gain, you just gain more FUN!

Yeah, he actually did the install while I supervised and the difference in performance was significant. I dont think there would be a difference between AT and MT as long as the sprint booster is for the right engine.

Any suggestions?? I guess the next thing I want to do is color match my bezels in my headlights and maybe paint my calipers.

I recently ordered a set of these and am waiting for them to come in... (he has them for MT, which is hard to find)

I can let you know how they are, but they look good to me.

Kleemann header and downpipe now installed
I love the exhaust note I get out of it, haven't really driven it enough to give my full review but the car feels alot better
Heres a little exhaust clip, ill try and get a driveby when I get the time. (note the exhaust is an eisenmann race)

I would recommend this mod by all means

WOW nice sound for a 4 banger, especially an M271.
Compared to your eisenmann alone, it is even deeper.
Great video except for the funny flip flop. jk.

No I ended up just doing the straight install without flanging. Went pretty smooth from what I heard but they DID need a donut gasket that Cory said that was not needed.

I actually meant to write gasket and not flange, my bad.. so you did need the gasket? do you remember what size it was??
