I know on our c230's there a feature called fast off. When you come off the gas REAL fast, it holds its gear and doesnt upshift because it thinks your about to break..


Anyways, on my 99 clk i dont have that , or touch shift. It shifts ALOT faster because i use the shiftgate to switch and remove my foot from the gas real fast and it switches gears without hitting that rev limiter which is annoying.

Im so used to this and when I drive the new c, as soon as i left off the accel fast, it just slows itself down.

Is there a way to disable this feature, and also, i think the tranny on the c is alot slower than my old 320. Maybe because it only has 250 miles, i havent really bullied it yet, but i dont like how it holds the gear.

i believe fast-off only works in spring/sport/summer mode. if you switch it to winter it should be disabled. check the manual. they talk about it in the section where they discuss winter and sport modes.
