Not necessarily true. If you're running close to the same rolling diameter as you would on the stock staggered setup (w/o any engine mods), there's no reason you should lose mileage.

In fact, when I got my 19's my highway mileage increased a lot (before the engine mods). I got to Vegas on 1/2 a tank of gas compared to when I had the OEM 17's and only had 1/4 tank left.

you do lose some mpg when going with larger diameter wheels, but that can be solved with putting a few more lbs of air on long trip. i.e. less contact patch less rolling resistance better mileage.

I'm just saying, majority of people that have gone with 19's have some rubbing issues. They're bigger rims and bigger rolling diameter. Whether it's the tab attached to the rear bumper or the luxury fenders that aren't rolled (from stock). So, if you take the plunge, there's no reason to be scared at all, as long as you take all the proper precautions.
"don't tell you you're scared of a little extra size and rubbing " ??

oh please! anyone can see you're thinking dirty haha i'm just joking

BUT yeah i might give 19's a shot, what harm can a "little extra rubbing" do right?

Nothing gets by you, huh?

See, I knew you'd go for the 19's.

I don't get it... ... but either way the 19's sound like they'll suit your car very nicely. As a matter of fact I'm regretting my 18's as well so I'll probably switch over pretty soon.

it's a phase. you get 18" and then you want 19" and then you want 18" again. I went (17, 18, 19, 19, 19, 19, 18) lol

19's all the way, and plus your drop isnt very low, look at the majority of us 19's/lowered 203's we usually tuck tire all around, i have no rubbing issues and my offsets arent even that great, 35et all around. and i have HR springs with half coil cut in the front and i switched the rear shim to a #1, even with a full car load, no rubbing.

19's fit the wells proper, plus you have a aggressive kit, id opt for bigger wheels.

Sorry, but with the color being as off as it is, it looks terrible. That would drive me crazy. The kit looks nice. The color kills it...Just being honest Just reminds me of every civic I see with a body kit that doesn't match.

4500 painted and installed. got it from rev (2nd floor of new type mitsubishi) in richmond. they've got some stuff you could check out .. but i suggest you not to unless you really don't have a choice. they have horrible customer service and plus they returned my car with rashed up rims and unmatched body kit

anyone had work done to their car and find that it doesn't meet your expectations? .. i'm thinking of bringing my car back, but i don't know if they'll do anything about it?

appreciate your honesty, but i really don't see a need of comparing my car to a civic.
