6 cyl c230 intakes?
hey guys just wondering what intakes were available for the 07 c230. i know theres the green filter, just wondering what other options might there be? thanks!

quadoptix, don't listen to this n00b. Brabus, AMG, Kleemann, and Renntech don't make "intakes" for the 2.5L C230's. there are no intakes for the v6 at the moment...

ouch easy there boss. i know he's just trying to help. i'm not a noob to cars. i did a search on it but no real answer was found on the whole topic lol . all good tho i mean i know u mean well. i looked at the engine today and was thinking of a way to make a more efficient setup than what mercedes has already designed in terms of an intake. what they have put togethor to me is already pretty damn nice. only thing on that setup that i think can be improved is the "cloth" portion to an actual solid pipe. im still thinking up ideas =) thanks everyone for their input...2nd question..does anyone make headers?

the cloth portion of the intakes is kind of necessary to soak fluid that can enter the air ducts.
kleemann makes headers for the 2.5, kinda pricey, but good gains.
right now u can only pretty much get a filter setup/k/n's or green. or find a renntech air box that fits the 272 engine.

i STILL don't get it. noone has ever been able to prove that aftermarket filters produce any gains on these cars. Even the top tuners don't even make intakes.
BTW - I always thought the cloth was there to allow a certain amount of movement of the engine
