Hid??

I know ima noob and ive tried to STF. Seeing this is my first car I have a lot to learn...My question is since my car's headlights are somewhat yellow like everyone else on the street will this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H7-XE...QQcmdZViewItem
make my headlights a more bright whiteish blueish color? Im thinking this is the cheaper alternative to xenon's?

i believe thats a 3600k kit, so its not going to be pure white. but definitely whiter

3600K is yellow. you need 6000K for white and 8000K for blue.

I think if you scoll further down in the listing it shows the kelvin bulbs and some other types that you can choose from when ordering. You can even get 12k. Correct me if im wrong lol.

just becareful with some kits on ebay esp the kits for foglights i've heard and seen some horrible stories of cheap hid kits starting fires due to overheating n such

theres should be a thread in here bout hid kits, i heard the mtec work will with our cars. most kits you will still need to get XENON - PRESENT setting

You could have searched for "HID" or even "xenon" which you did not otherwise you would have come across the great HID/Xenon thread with members posting different kits. And that you may need to have your car set to have xenons present.

Yep, 4300K. Its the projection that shows the difference in the colors.

if you want to get HID, i would suggest get it from carlab or techonehid.com
since both of them shouldn't throw obc error.
