C180k Sedan Sports Edition
Front Intakes.
I noticed on my C180 that there is two air intakes at the top of the grill. One is blocked off and the other runs to the airbox via a long bendy 3 inch hose
Could somebody tell me what the blocked of one is there for? Is there anything I could use it for.

I know exactly what your talking about... as to why it is there, I don't know, could be that all the chassis are made the same and adapted to the equipment/engine that is being put into them and the air intakes on top of the grille are just thrown in as default and one blocked off to suit a none V shaped engine. Who knows??
But anyway, in answer to what you could do with it... I was thinking with mine, i might unblock it, stick a cloth pipe there, cutting a hole in the plastic bit that goes into the airbox, and pushing the cloth pipe into there and securing it in with some sort of adhesive, to create more air flow into the box?
Don't know, maybe i'm being a noobish dork...

its there because the bigger engines use 2 intakes, while the 4cyl only uses 1.
if you're looking into custom intakes, theres a few choices...
I made one about a year ago...out of SS piping and Silicon couplers
then recently, flip made one out of CF that only uses the closest intake port

Ooh that CF intake is sexy. How do I get one of them? I like the sway bar you have as well.
I was thinking of trying to get a more direct airflow. A bit like a ram air effect like motorbikes.
Does it feed the supercharger as well? Where does that flow come from?
