It's only sold as a Mercedes part, the similar Alpine units are not DB2 Fibre compatible. The only aftermarket CD changer that you can get that will work is the Becker Silverstone. You can get the correct MB CD changer for $400 from several source, search the forums. The Becker is a little cheaper at about $350. Or you can get the MB in dash CD if you don't need a changer.
i'm getting an Audio 10 but still want to get a changer. If I get the MB changer do I get the aux inputs? Do I have to get a changer for the aux inputs? Thanks.

I got the actual MB unit from Autoclass.net. The customer service will befuddle you if you order it online, but it arrived 9 days later, no problems with getting it, or installing it. Takes about an hour. Plays great! Make sure you order a fibre optic cable with it...the bracket is a waste of money, its a pain to line up with the glove box predrilled hole. Use Velcro...I would if I had to do it again.
Here's a question of my own...Does anyone know if you can use other magazines in the 6 disk, besides the cheapo MB ones?
