anyways bro, i'm lookin forward to the new wheels. i didn't mean to say anything negative about yours.... i just meant that they just look so standard that i wouldn't go out of my way and pay to look normal.

looks like supershyguy's kit fits you well. i am planning on picking one up too, but im gonna lower first.
The kit is nice but mind you there was A LOT of work done. I got it prepped, painted, and installed by the professionals which was a good decision IMO. One of the reasons why I decided not to do everything myself was because the front lip had no support near the middle so there was a huge gap, it's not noticeable on a dark colored car but it's a big problem on silver. Another thing was because it's a replica and and is made out of a mold, the corners were all too short and could not reach the end of the bumper so I had to get the shop to cut off those areas and extend it so it would "wrap" around the original bumper. The exhaust opening on the rear lip was also too large so the shop had to make it smaller to cover the bumper behind it.

For my first kit it's not bad at all, too bad it's fiberglass though. It's scary driving around town because I'm already scrapping like a **** so if I get coil-overs I'll have to set them to the highest setting and drive SLOW.

I can speak from experience saying that the authentic front lip seemed like it was too short to wrap around the edges of the front bumper, but required some muscle to snap into place. The shop that did the paint work swore it would not fit and gave it to me uninstalled, so I took it home and self-installed with an extra hand from the wifey. The good news is that once it was installed, that thing is a tight fit and aint coming off! Either way, it looks like the extra effort paid off in your case!

The fender gap is getting to me. I think I might have to work on the suspension sooner than originally planned... heh.

Good call. I dropped mine immediately after picking it up from the dealership. The stock height is hideous and there's no way I would have driven it like that.

Hahaha!! Oh stop rubbing it in!!

At the same time I'm trying to find a pair of impact strips. Would you have the part numbers for the euro version handy by any chance, Blake?

Here's a coupe shots of my vehicle at "Cool Cars Cruising 4 Cancer". This was a fund raiser for the Canadian Cancer Society held in Calgary, Alberta. Originally there were well over 2500 participants registered but because of the non-stop rain I'd say only about 1/5 of the participants showed up. We had a few people cruising all the way from BC and Saskatchewan, I think I also saw a couple Cali plates. Big thumbs up to everyone who showed up for their support.

No, I don't have part numbers. I ordered them from MBenzNL.

The Polarg bulbs arrived in the mail today so I gave them a try and they're not too bad, I think they match the color of the low-beams pretty well.

ALSO... heh, heh...

Just had a Magnaflow muffler installed today. Nice deep tone, exactly what I was hoping for. I'll upload some pics tonight.

The muffler shop I went to ordered it in for me. I could've ordered one myself for wholesale cost but I didn't want to drive back and forth just to save $100 so the muffler came out to $200.

Anyways, here are the pics as promised. I also snapped some pics of the rotors installed, they don't fill the wheel as nice as what some of the other members have on here but I don't feel a BBK is necessary to get me to school. Perhaps one day I'll have the opportunity to be balla like you guys. Rear pads and rotors are next, I'll probably go with Brembo and Pagid on the back. Also, kinda thinking about sneaking a set of braided lines in there. Oh, when the time comes.

Lastly, a shot of my Polarg city lamps. They're kind of purple but not too extreme. I'd say they're just right.

Enjoy!

Yeah they're only temporary though just to keep the water out. When I ordered the wheels the caps in the pictures were black but they ended up sending me silver ones instead. I tried the black and chrome caps from formymercedes.com and they were too big so I'm rocking these for now until I get my black ASA caps in the mail.
