Sport/Ceramic/Black Tint?
So i have been searching for about 3 days now but cant get an answer to my problem...i just got a Benz a week and a half ago and im beginning to think about starting to mod it...i want to start off with the window tint. I love the way the glass is blue on all the sport edition mercs...so does anyone know any tint brand that matches it or if the dealer sells or does the tinting?; also if anyone has any pics of the blue on your cars i would really appreciate it...thx in advance ...also does anyone know what percent tint it is?
P.S.: Does anyone have Huper Optik tint on a c-class?

yup, here are some pics of my car. The front is 50% only because no tint is allowed on the front so i went light not to get tickets. The back is 15%. It looks like stock SUV or minivan tint. Good visibility at night too. Make SURE you get feltskin/moleskin installed. This will prevent scratching the tint in the future.
The tint looks darker sometimes so i posted a lot of pics so you get the idea. I would say 50% in real life doesn't look like any tint at all.

Why not go 35% all around? You don't have to worry about getting pulled over. It's not too dark but at least it's all even shade front & back.
. . . in some angles, it looks darker
rdscklasse

these pictures should definitly be merged into the tint thread. i've been goin through the tint thread pictures for the last couple months and they are not as clear as the pictures you guys just put up. half the pictures in the tint thread are so reflective (at least for the angle the picture was taken) that its hard (for me at least) to accurately differentiate between the tint percentages. theres also the brand differences not to mention how shiny the cars all looked.
anyways....schweet cars. thats the clearest picture of rlee's ride i've seen recently. much better than that camera phone picture that made my eyes lose focus whenever i browsed by
oh, imo darker tint on a darker/black car looks better.

Yeah, i would recommend going about 20% all around. i'm actually considering changing the front tint since it is so light. Also, i've seen a reduction in heat. My tint cost me $370 but i didn't shop around. I'm sure you can get it done for about 200-300. Just make sure you find a guy who knows what feltskin/moleskin is.

Don't forget to take into consideration the color of the interior. Light color interiors will make your tint appear lighter. Dark interiors will make the tint look darker.
