just to let you know, had a set and they blew off on the highway at 75 mph. luckily it didnt fly back and hit my car, but it could have and it probally woulda scratched the paint. a little peice a chrome isnt worth a few hundred to fix some messed up bodywork.

They dont seem worth the price:
as listed on their website: 30,000 Yen at today's exchange rate of about 120Y/$ is about $250. Thats is you buy it there - add cost of shipping, etc,etc - $300+.

i think some people like the older e/clk look w/ the 2 separate headlights. i know some who really dislike the c-class style peanut lights (coupe and sedan). they're really upset that the clk and the sl have similar lights.

Okay I'll admit I do like that two seperate headlight look. But the one thats for sale for $50 is that the chrome ring around the headlights or the one (like on Fabulous kit) that actually sepeate the headlight seperate. Thanks.

E_Corleone, I thought I remember reading that post about your headlight ring coming off, but I thought it was the one that just went around the stock headlights, not the one mentioned here that separates the lights into two.

Edit- yep, here it is... https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...&threadid=9412

These arnt the chrome rings that just circle the lights. Theyre the body color match ones that SPLIT the two lights into what the NEW eclasses look like. SO there is no "bling Bling"

TBERRY- The one for sale for 50 bucks is just the normal ring one. SO its not the one i wanted.

I dont see why someone can't replicate it. I'd gladly pay half the price (~$150) for a quality piece and body color painted.

Its funny, after initially not liking the 'fusion' lights on the C class, I now wouldn't even consider puting that "splitter' on them...I really like the looks as is.

as much as i respect alot of ppl. on this forum when it comes cosmetic stuff ppl. have their own taste (hence there's like tens of thousands of wheel designs). I like the look of the previous CLK split headlight look, and of all the Fabulous kit the only thing I care of is the split headlight look. Mind you I have a black coupe as well and i (personal opinion) don't think the split headlight will look right on other colors.

I think the headlight rings would lok good. Not sure if I would want the spilt lights, but the rings around them I could go for if the price is right.
