C230 Kompressor Sport Coupe
so i stopped off in richmond, VA....
to stretch my legs. it'd been a long week, and already a few hours behind the wheel, although i'd swear the ride gets easier every time i do it. its 650 miles from new jersey to charleston air force base, south carolina. ugh. the last hundred miles are always the worst, and thats of any road trip!
saw a grey c230 coupe in my travels, but he didnt wanna play! so sad.
anyways, i stopped off in richmond virginia to get some grub and stretch my legs. grab some gas, and head back on the road. right next to the gas station was a go-kart performance shop. i went in and inquired about purchasing some methanol. for road trips, i usually just buy isopropyl alcohol, but i knew methanol was best.
the lady asked what i was putting it in, and i told her my mercedes was alcohol injected, and that i was running higher boost than normal and whatnot. she seemed surprised that anyone would even add alcohol injection to a benzo, let alone the raising of the eyebrows i got when i told her about the other performance mods. i guess with all the luxury MB's floating around, noone thinks performance when they think of mercedes, and yet all the most famous benzo's they use in the movies are always the crazy wild ones.
