LATCH problems with child seat.
Hi everyone, maybe I can get some help on this problem.
I got my '06 C280 4Matic today and have problem installing the child seat for my daugther with the LATCH system. In the manual, it says you need to "unfold" the anchor and there is a button to fold it..etc
The problem is my anchor looks nothing like the picture, the two anchors are already exposed and I didn't need to fold/unfold it. Yet, when I try to install the seat, it didn't work because the anchors are too deep inside the seats and the LATCH buckles are fairly big and I couldn't jam it inside enough to hook on to the anchors.
Did they make this change for '06 only, does anyone else have this problem?

I think I understand your question. I'm a single dad and use the latches to fasten My pitters car seat.
My latches do swivel out, and it seems like yours would to. Are the hooks on your car seat oversized or something?
Try pulling them out. Swing left and out, or right and out. I think you'll find they swivel out.
