Need input/advise...
for those who lowered it esp. the one who has the Sports package, did it make a big difference, drivng and handling wise? was it scraping a lot?
for those who didn't, did you regret it?
so far, I got the upgraded front grill, flat hood emblem and the depo projector light from K1 motorsports...
thanks in Advance

went to Coil overs with adjustable shocks since shocks would've cost
500-1000 installed alone, and not matched to the springs.
The stock so called "sport" suspension drove me crazy.
It was sloppy, handled poorly and rode like crap too.
No redeeming factors at all.
After a year of ownership, and fighting with my car through corners,
I put AMG sways (about $200) and Vogtland Springs (about 200-250)
and I could not have been happier. The ride was better than ever,
not too bumpy. My formerly exhausting commute became much much easier, not wrestling just to stay in the seat through corners, and no more front end dive. It was love again, until the shocks died.
Total invested was about $500-600 with alignment.
I did most of the work myself, but I'd recommend finding someone to
compress the front struts and replace the springs for you once they're off the car. The rear only takes about 45 minutes to do the sways and springs.
It's not that hard to DIY.
If you're talking about "lowering the springs" does that mean cutting them?
I wouldn't do that. New springs are inexpensive enough.
AND YES it looked and still looks MUCH better.
Prior to 2005 W203's in the US sit about 6 inches off the front wheels.
Yuk!
Do it for the looks, comfort, handling, and ease of driving. You'll be a happy owner.
