My long time friend finally bought a 2002 c32 (of course I convinced him, and helped with the locating of a nice one) and told him only to get one with an extended warantee-----which he did

We found one in jacksonville FL one owner that was the right price with a little over 60,000 miles on it------looked great, bone stock one owner non smoking vehicle with the 100k warantee!! Also has that nice grey color option as well.

but.... the supercharger had some noise (the bearing) and some other things like the exhaust was hit on the bottom from speed hump?? (everytime you hit the gas it rattled against the heat shield, old radiator, hard shifting from 1st to second ETC---but the warantee as well as the price sold the car

my buddy just got off the phone with the service advisor and thanks to all the members that posted here, I sent him to the Stealership loaded with the TSBs for his car
They are now replacing under warantee:
-supercharger
-intake pipes (busted from taking on off???)
-throttle (not sure if the pedal or throttle body)
-motor and tranny mounts (to fix the exhaust not lining up straight, maybe torn??)
-coolant sensors
-preforming the tranny flash and update from 2002 to 2003 software
-drivers side door seal (coming apart---he will have to cover this though)

Good thing he had the warantee!!! and look forward to seeing him and his mods on this site--

Had the same feeling when I drove a friends M3.
All the mods in the world on my C230, won't make it handle like the M.
(despite putting an extra ~ 2 grand into the suspension)
And power? Fuggetaboutit!
