It's actually G'Day...we by-pass the "ood". Yeah, we do use it alot. I was saying to someone the other day that you hardly hear any Aussie saying it these days...but a friend from America visitng here said I use it most of the time when greeting someone. Didn't even realise!

just to explain a little, when i hear the word "reckon", i hear a totally different mental voice... of the more southernly persuasion (in the US). but now that i think about it, i have heard it being used by that aussie crickey tackle the big croc guy (i think).

side note: circular quay is pronounced circular key and bondi is bon-die (not bondy)
