C320 wagon loaner-differences from coupe
The wagaon loaner was nice, but obviously designed to appeal to a different audience than the coupe. The diffferences in content, beyond the lux/sport trade offs, are interesting.
Among the more subtle ways MB was able to offer an affordable C is in the interior lighting. This wagon had puddle lights under the door panels, nice. It also had illuminated thumb wheel controls on all the vents. Is this feature omitted on the coupes, or have mine never worked?
The wagon's center console bin was stuffed with some box that rendered it useless. What is this box? The car had Tele-Aid, but no phone.
The powertrain was smooth, but felt geared too tall.
The Goodyear tires stuck better than the std. Michelin MXVs on the coupe.
Kids loved watching the headlight washers.
Oh, yeah it's bigger inside.
