Ipod volume
I currently have an FM transmitter that connects to the docking port on the bottom of the Ipod. It actually works wonderfully with the sole drawback being that I can't turn the volume up past a reasonable level. (sometimes i like to rock out). The volume will go much louder when I am listening to a CD or the radio. And since the FM transmitter connects to the docking port on the Ipod, the volume control on the Ipod is useless. I bought an FM transmitter that connects through the headphone jack so I could turn the Ipod volume up, but the quality of sound is pathetic.
So, my question is by using the method in the DIY sticky, where you connect the Ipod to the stock cables and use the AUX input, will the volume reach simlar levels as you could if you were listening to a CD or the radio? Thanks for your help.
