CEL Turns off?

CEL Turns off?
So my CEL light turned on because when I put my a/c on at idle my engine gets really bogged down and it feels like its going to stall. so its ok just dont turn the air on at idle. i was looking forward to driving the new c-class anwyas.
but then today, it turns off!
i didnt know the CEL turns off. Does that mean my car is "okay" now?

When the CEL is illuminated, it indicates that something is wrong. It could be something as innocuous as a loose gas cap...

Please get it checked out by your dealer or a competent independent technician pronto. When you take it in to be examined, error codes will have been stored in the ECU for subsequent retrieval, even if the CEL is off at that time. He or she will then know how to best rectify its ongoing malaise.
