Recurring driver side power seat issue...
Okay here goes... the Mrs has been nagging me lately about her seat cutting out, 30A fuse instantly blows when she tries to make adjustment. I've been skimming through the archive and with more than 500 replies, the most common issue is the switch control module, but yet problem persisted even with several module change out.
I'm trying to avoid the stealership for module replacement... does anybody got a permanent fix? Also, it's funny that the passenger side is not affected/plague with same issue, are the part(s) interchangeable by any chance?
Although, I recall one reply stating; to beef up all associated components <= ie; 40A relay (instead of the norm 30A), heavy duty switch controller and motor.

Did some more digging in the archive... driver side power seat issues are not isolated to just them W203's, other models share this problem as well with similar fix; faulty motor, switch controller/module, etc., etc.
As I've previously stated, I'm trying to avoid acquiring needed parts from the stealership... most of you prolly know that you'll get shafted up your A$$ if you go this route <= Only if I have to; last resort kind of thing!
Does anybody know other part source(s) for these vehicles?
