Hi you all Benz loyalist ! I just got delivery 3 weeks ago of my C320 Black/Java. Love the car....wax it already twice...(wife wondering why?) Anyway my only problem/question is do you guys ever hear of wind noise apparently coming from both rear doors by the C-pillar? I can only hear it while traveling about 60- 70 mph thus I'm assuming its from wind noise. Help, tell me its not just my imagination.

 

It's not your imagination; there is wind noise from mine also, but it seems to come from the windows on the front 2 doors. The techs checked it out...and of course heard nothing unusual. I love my car, but my 99 Civic Ex has a quieter engine at idle, and no wind noise...

btw, don't you just love full throttle 1st & 2nd gears on this baby?!!! I can just imagine the C32 [drool], and it makes me miss my old 84 430hp HKS Stage III Supra [sniff]!!!

 

I just picked up my new c240 a couple days ago, & I too am experiencing a wind noise from driver side rear window area. As it turns out, while test driving a C240 approx 1 month ago, it too had the same problem. I keep taping off certain section by sections, then drive on highway trying to locate the actual air leak. I'll keep you updated as to the location of the leak.

The car also has a slight vibration once reaching approx 50mph. Once I get these 2 problems fixed, I'll think I'll love the car.
