bright enough for its purpose....style
it doesnt seem like its enough to be noticeable or to make a huge difference
The "purpose" is to light the ground around your car as you walk toward it at night for better visibility of your surroundings. If you're thinking of doing it for style like the ricers, then neon underglow will suit you perfectly and match great with your wheels. When it comes to classy style... less is more, but obviously you prefer to stand out (in a bad way).

Eh, i guess its a stage im in, being young will do that rice thing to you.
i knew where the term puddle light came from obviously,
but had no idea people were actually buying them for that purpose.
if that is true...then im even more right in that the puddle lights should be brighter...otherwise it defeats the purpose if it cant light up a larger area.

anyone else out there have pics of puddle lights on their cars?

I'm am young and I'm still into the fast and furious rice stuff unfortunatly But seeing these posts, apparently you guys don't like neons. I'll try to trade it in for puddle lights or something else. I won't have them on all the time because it's illegal. I just wanted to put it because I got them for free.

They do look good on taylor's car tho (I hope he doesn't mind me posting this pic )

Love it or hate it, Taylor's car is an extremely modded showcar and the underglows kinda "fit". I wouldn't have done half those mods, so I'm not saying it looks good.

But check this thread out. He lists his mods there It just says lead based neons
http://mymbonline.com/forum/viewtopi...129&highlight=

Nick: Isn't neon the same thing as puddle except brighter and evened out? Your's looks good, but I want brighter that that.

Blake: We all know you have one of the cleanest C's but I wanted to go for a different look. I like going for the flashy look

Phil: haha, yeah it will match my plates. (I have to wait till next paying cycle to get rid of the plates )

sorry, i didn't reply to everyone.

lol.. no I never drive with them on.

Its just a cool feature when you unlock the car and then they fade away.

Shake, in a way they are like neons but they look cleaner. The light is aimed straight down and only on the sides of the car. With the underglow you have light going everywhere. Its as if someone threw a light bulb under the car and ran away.

And my puddle lights can be seen in broad day light.

Thanks. I know what you mean, except that your car isn't exactly modded (yet) so the underglows on a stock C will look out of place. Now if you get one of those big wings from ebay, huge blingy wheels, cut your springs, tons of vinyl decals, stick on vents, etc. the neons would make more sense!

I'm thinking...
-cf lip front
-cheap 19"s (i'm poor although I wish I could afford the authentics)
-windows retinted to 15% all around thursday
-C55 spoiler or maybe a big *** spoiler but I know it will look out of place on my car since I don't have a body kit or anything
-subs

But we'll see how my car ends up. I'll start modding after winter

Anyone have pics of a C-class that fits Blake's description? I don't think i've seen a Fast and the Furious type C.
