I was thinking about purchasing a used 2001 C320. The car is listed as follows:

*) 1 owner, clean CarFax
*) 74K miles (less than average)
*) Clean interior/exterior...midnight blue/tan
*) Ask price @ 12K USD

?) What type of mileage can I expect from a C320 as long as its taken care fo correctly?
?) Is this car up for major maintenance at this mileage?
?) How reliable are these cars?
?) Anything else I should look for or ask about?

if the previous owner takes really good care of the car then it should last a while, if not then it's hard to say.

Although I didn't buy an extended warranty for mine, but what I sense from others on here and what I'll do from now on is get some sort of extended warranty....try your best to have everything fully checked out if you do pursue it, 74k miles isn't bad, just hopefully it had a good previous owner...and of course your local dealer should offer a small warranty like 60 days and so many miles or something....good luck

yah, definitely get at least 3 years extended warranty, it's worth the extra money, and might help you sell the car later on if you decide to sell it within 3 years
