Looks a little thin, check out the Moda R6, a little stouter looking. How much are those?

Boring. They'd make good winter wheels IMO.

I just ordered the mille miglia evo 5's on Saturday. I have heard a lot of good things about them from other forum members.

they're 17x8's and they're $145 at tirerack. i think they come in 16's too.

ideally i'd get the AMG split spoke 17's but i can't afford them.

I've seen the AMG split spoke wheels sold for $1,000 as take offs, that's probably close to those $145 wheels that can easily be $245 wheels with tires on them. One person on the forum just sold his set for $1,200 but that was on the high side. Get what you want, not what's cheap as you'll regret the purchase.

dropping $1200 on rims is so unjustified to me. i'd much rather get a pulley and ECU.

That's rims and tires, out the door, no tax. How much are these wheels/tires out the door? Here, I'll save you the trouble. These are prices from Tire Rack for the Mille wheels you've chosen + Michellin Pilot Sport (same tires as on the AMG Split Spoke);

17x8 Mille Miglia MM11-2 In Stock $145.00 $580.00
225/45YR17 Michelin Pilot Sport In Stock $169.00 $676.00

The grand total is $1,256 not counting tax or shipping. The factory AMG take-offs would have been cheaper! So this would give you an extra $56 to apply to a pulley and ECU mod!

I'm not a big fan of those, especially on the Coupe.

unless you have large calipers to show off, they will look weird on your car with such thin spokes and small calipers on a C-coupe.

For another $650 you can get the AMG calipers. Then you would have something nice to show off with drilled rotors. Heck if you are spending close to $1,500 shipped for these wheels and tires what's another $650. You'll need the better stopping power for the pulley and ECU mods.

I like those wheels. I bought the 16" last December for winter wheels. They haven't been on the car since my purchase of winter wheels and tires caused winter to be canceled in the St. Louis area last year.

i agree w/ Buellwinkle, the AMG split 5 spokes are awesome and even the 'fake' versions will probably be cheaper than those. those are nice rims IMO, but i do like the AMG split 5 spokes. i would even consider replacing the C7 wheels with the AMG ones. not really sure though as i really do like the C7 wheels, and there are a really great price when included in the C7 package. have you seen the price of them as standalones on mbusa.com. way to much!

The AMG brakes cost only $650???? Are you sure???? Rotors + calipers + pads? And they are supposedly made by Brembo????

If you get them from a discount MB dealer like Hoehn, maybe, just what I heard. It is made by Brembo, says so on the back. Just because it's made by Brembo doesn't mean it's the same as their top of the line $3,000 brakes, but it will fit the W203. Ben at Evosport claims to have some used sets, probably taken from Vadim's C32. Maybe someone can call him and find out what the deal is.

Cool nice

I do like those rims.. however I see them more fitting for a Japanese import car(like a Honda), quite sleek for those cars.. I think for Mercedez.. especially the C230 in particular it needs fatter looking wheels, to hold up that strong stature.. hehehe.

Hey! My thoughts exactly! They're too thin for a MB.
