I am newbie on this forum! I am interested if the 2002 C230K got the timing belt? or it has the chain? and what is the frequency of the changing them?

and if anyone knows? 17' inch OEM sport package rims will fit the 215/50/17 size tyres?

When the chain goes, it's time to rebuild the whole thing anyway.
As far as the tires, look it up on tirerack.
They have specs for all brands and models of tires, diameter and width and what size rims.
Stock is 225-45-17 which is a common size.
