A few months ago i had the common locking and unlocking problem which was fixed at the dealer... long story short when i tried to unlock and lock the car the door pin will jump up and down like a pogo stick but anyways lately i've been having problems with locking my car. Sometimes i have to press the button a few times for the car to lock which is a pain... the car seems to not have problems at all unlocking. I have the oem 2003 key old style that came with the car. I dont think its the battery but i may be wrong??? i mean the car does unlock everytime i press the button just that when i want to lock i might have to press it 3-5 times before it locks. Does this mean i need a new key????

 

Have you searched for pogo lock?

This is reall well covered in the board. DIY too, if you are out of warranty.

no i dont have the pogo lock problem i had that awhile back now i just have problems with my remote key.

nah havent taken it to the dealer prolly need new key

 

So is the problem related to the key? Both of my keys do the same thing.

Or your key is not working at all.
