funny behavior of my Coupe.
Lately my car at a "steady" high speed (70mph) is experiencing a little bit of a pulsating jerk. This is kinda wierd because it doesn't happen in lower speeds. Feels like the car is slightly pushed from the back in a constant, non stop manner. Any ideas

Try cleaning it, maybe all thats wrong.
Also it's a good time to replace the fuel filter, which can be fairly easily done
with the rear of the car on ramps...AND while you're at it do the spark plugs if they haven't been done.

Ha! well, I learn new things every day. I asked the MAF around and the sucker is pretty expensive (+$300). What do you think about this one? Looks kosher? is not bad at all (considering the other ones) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180159311640

That's the lowest priced one I've seen or heard of. There's been some complaints about getting a bad MAF from ebay but I believe most of the problems were with the installation/set up. A new MAF, even if it's good, doesn't necessarily make the car run better until after it's been in the car for a while <or> if the adaptation values have been reset to normal (requires Star diag).

Don't replace it yet. Try cleaning it first... unless yer made of moo-lah. Go to Advance Auto and get MAF cleaner. It's in a spray can that is white, black and red and says right on it "MAF cleaner". It'll set ya back about $5 to $6. Fixed the exact same problem I had.
