Angry Grrrrrrr!!!!!

So I am backing out of my garage this morning and my girlfriend was parked behind me(she never parks behind me). I bumped her liscense plate pretty good and now have two deep scratches, one the size of a quarter and the other about a nickle. I went inside and found an auto body shop thats local and am dropping it off on Saturday(the day after I get my new wheels ).

So I was just curious as to how much you guys think I will be paying for this. No dents or body damage other than the two minor scratches. And no they cant be buffed out.

I feel so dumb I hit a parked car :p

What part of your car is damaged? The bumper strip?

Your best option is to blend paint the scratched areas instead of re-paint the whole bumper because the factory paint has better quality than the aftermarket ones.

Repair + blend paint should run about $500.

I did that once....i used a turtle wax polishing cream to blend it out. Im not sure how hard you hit but maybe you should try taht first. Its worth a try.

I learned years ago not to back out of the garage quickly.

Now I back INTO the garage(and back over things that shouldn't be there), so when I drive quickly out of the garage, I can get a good look at it, before I hit it.
