MY07 Factory wheel exchange for chrome

I've searched for "chrome factory exchange" ... gone through the wheel thread, can't find any pictures of a MY07 with the factory wheels that have been chromed.

Anyone have a picture? I *think* it would look nice on a Capri Blue car.

Thanks

Do you have a picture showing the entire car?

Thanks!

No, I don't unfortunately. When my tires wear out, I am sending my wheels to that same company (LA wheels) to have them BLACK chrome painted.

I have never been able to find a picture of on 07 with the factory wheels chromed.

Thanks for trying..... I'm sure i'll find a picture somewhere, I even asked LA tire/wheel if they had any of their customers send them in. If they send me one I will post it.

Thanks again

When I bought my 04 C230 sedan it came with chrome stock wheels. After about a year, the chrome was literally peeling off. One wheel had lost about half the chrome. The other three had random patches that were either bubbled or peeled off. My advice: Don't do it. The chrome wheel fad was over in the 90's, so please let it go.

Well that LA wheel exchange has excellent feedback and a 4 year warranty. Who knows who chromed your wheels, if you had a warranty you should have had them repaired..

Not fair to say ALL chrome wheels will peel .. My 1993 mustang has factory chrome pony wheels from 1993 and they still look awesome.. No peeling at all after 57k miles..

To each their own.
Thanks though

I tried to get MB to warranty them, but they considered the wheels a wear and tear item that is prone to damage. They basically said there's no way to tell what caused the damage... and how can I prove that there was no abrasive chemical applied to them? In the end, it gave me a perfect reason to upgrade to nicer rims since the last thing I wanted was another set of stock wheels.

Chromies on your 93 mustang makes sense based on my previous comment. Leave the bling to 90's era cars and southern rappers.

Most guys here just compliment everybody but I'm not afraid to give my honest opinion and I can take jabs without being easily offended. Ask those who know me... I give 'em hell too but at the end of the day it's all good .
