Not quarter mile. My gears suck. I think maybe after i put in the C7 Short shifter it might be better. As for the fwy, I do pull away from the C43.

What exactly is a C7 short shifter? Does anyone have a pic? How much is it? Is it hard to install?? So what is your final verdect on rather I should do the power chip or not? Maybe absolute, they claim 182HP on the C240 with their chip. I think they even have a dyno on it also.
Thanks

2002 C240 Classic
the c7 short throww shifter is the same as a stock shifter only shorter. its basically a cut down version of the one you have. not sure, but wonder if you can just cut your stock shifter rod to make it shorter and then tap the ends so the knob can screw on. anyone know if thats a good idea?

Not a good idea. The knob does not screw on. The end of the rod has a unique shape and the knob slides onto it and then has a plastic piece that turns and locks it on. So the end of the rod would need to be kept. Maybe you can take something off from the other side? Who knows? I don't know how it attaches.

c240
c240 pulleys

I see that you have the ud pulleys I am doing a ECU upgrade and want to do the ud pulleys, but I hear that doing the crank pulley is not safe for motor. also I dont use the ac more than 20-30 days a year is there an ud pulley for that aswell?
what would be greatest bang for buck for c240 pulleys ecu and exhaust is what I was think input would be appreciated.
