Talking Who out there would be interested in a Supercharger for their C240/C320?

Please let me know your level of interest, serious interest.
The cost including install would be right at $10,450.00.

-This would provide approx. 100+ wheel hp + torque
- System would run at a safe 4-5psi and require no internal engine mods
-No intercooler
-Eaton based Supercharger OEM proven reliability

There are many more details, but right now I'm just trying to gauge if anyone out there would want to upgrade their C320/C240.
If there’s enough people interested there could probably be a group buy opportunity as well.

With all respect, I'm not looking to get into a big discussion about Kleemann or any other kit. This extremely safe system is simply a lower cost, quiet running alternative that provides serious performance gains.

Please email me directly at Supercharger@Americasinternet.net

Thanks for your feedback.

I would be very interested; as long as it fufills the C.A.R.B. rqmt, and you have published or a major magazine test featuring it.

I'm sorry- I can't resist. You say a "low cost quiet running alternative" to (I assume, maybe I'm wrong) the KLEEMANN V6 kompressor system. Low cost? the KLEEMANN setup is $9800.00 including installation- $650.00 LESS. Quiet? I'll believe it when I hear it. I have NEVER heard a quiet Eaton supercharger.

CHATMANR- Check out the KLEEMANN system. CARB certified, and published in Car and Driver (12/01, C32K). Plus it costs less than MERCGUY's system, as well as being produced by a company that is known for very reliable, very powerfull Mercedes-Benz tuning.

I don't understand, doesn't Mercedes already sell a C320 with a supercharger, nicer leather seats, nicer wheels, better suspension and brakes, 4 year warranty and good resale value for 10K more? Do you upgrade the wheels, leather, suspension, Brembos and the supercharger for that price?

I guess the quest for more HP will never end - yes, you can spend the extra 10K and get the C32. But, if you look on the C32 and E55 sites, you will find people who want more from the already fast AMG motor. People who have M3's and M5's are also doing the same. If there are companies out there offering make your car go faster....I guess we will always be interested. I dont see these go-fast companies/tuners going out of business - so they must be doing okay.

CoryU-Thanks for the tip; I didn't know the Kleemann was under 10k, complete with install. ...now I just have to wait until my 4yr/40k mi runs out...it is 4/40, right.

Before I get flames, I'm not home so I can't look at my car info.

Let's see. An Eaton supercharger at 5psi and no intercooler and no other mods is going to give 100hp at the wheels or roughly 117 hp at the crank. Am I the only skeptic here?

Lynn- absolutly not. I'd be suprised if it gave half of that.
