a vehicles to purpose is to get from point a to point b effeciently. the realm of customization has taken things from one extreme to another. however, when a vehicle loses its basic driveability, what is left? rims too big. car too low for a driver. and hell, get some tires on the rims. stacking rubber bands doesnt count. :-P

I like your benz!, it's very unique for most C-classes out there! However I would have to say your choice of tire size seems a little scary. The track of the tire is far narrower than the width of the rim itself! With a rim that wide, you should be using at least a 255, but I can imagine where the rubbing will kill the fenders/tires. Have you considered raising the back to where it sits level at the top of the tire and using a tire wide enough to suit the rim, at least to protect the rim from damage from anything in the road, if not for the sake of handling?

You're missing the whole point of what he's done.

He has obviously chosen form over function. He could care less about the optimal tire size as long as he can fit the 20's and still keep his car SLAMMED to the point where you see it above. In his case, it required him to run thinner tires stretched across the wheels, exposing the lip of the rim. Your suggestion of "raising the back to where it sits level at the top of the tire and using a tire wide enough to suit the rim" is simply not an option when you go "Indo-low".

ah I see, thanks. I guess it's just a persons choice on how to fit a a set of rim's/tires safely and comfortably to their suit. I also take it that if he's already rolled the fenders, doing it further would likely split the paint.
Non the less I like the Benz, I just think the tires look waaaay off, but
I see "The Point", I know there are other ways around it, it just costs more to do it right.
Good luck and enjoy your sweet Benz viprsx!

I love wald kits, but it's so hard to find those. Initially I was looking for Wald instead of Reiger and Carlsson kits, but it's just so hard to find, so I gave up.

car looks very nice

Yes Exactly!!.. I mean I can put 275 in the rear and drop it only 1", BUT it's not me..I like my car slammed all the way to the ground, stretch tires, crazy offset..LOL

You live in SoCal right, I think the company called JONARI(sp?) is the USA WALD distributor correct?
