Broken Seats

Ok I need to know if anyone else has had this issue. I searched the forum but couldn't find anything like the problem I'm having... First it was just my drivers seat but now both. For a while when I would get in the car I could hear kind of a popping noise coming from under the drivers seat. Well now I can pretty much grab the front of the seat bottom and left it up a few inches, but only on one side. I am now experiencing this on both seats. I'm going to take it in to have that and the crazy mirrors looked at again for the 5th time. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

My passenger side seat does the exact same thing and I don't know how to fix it. Please post your findings here after you go to the dealership.

It is most likely a $5.00 plastic mount that holds the front of the seat to the frame. There is a sheet metal pan that the cusion and cover are mounted on and the pan is mounted to the seat frame with two plastic mounts in front and two springs and pins in the back. The front mount has two plastic rivets in the holes on both sides of the plastic mount.

I figured it was something pretty simple but does the seat need to be removed to replace the clips?

You could unbolt it and tilt it back to replace them, without having to remove it from the car. But I don't think it would be possible to replace them without unbolting them. I have one extra and the part number is 203 912 00 41

Thank you for the good news. I'm headed to the dealers now!
