I own a 2001 c240 and my brother has the S430 and he dosn't use his 16inch alloy MB wheels. My bolts are not long enough is there any way i can get these wheels to fit?

I wouldn't go quite so far as to give up on it yet. Of course, I am not familiar with the offset of those wheels, but if you can put the wheels on and they don't bump any parts like your brake caliper, then the offset isn't an issue. It sounds like you've gotten this far and there is no problem with part contact? If you haven't tried this yet, you can test-fit each wheel onto your car, and see if it bumps anything. Small interference (5-10mm) is often addressed with additional spacers between the wheel and hub, but this is never as good as having wheels with the proper offset in the first place. This offset will determine if you can use these wheels at all, as Buell indicates.
If the only issue is that the bolts you have are too short, you can buy longer bolts. You want to have the same length of bolt sticking through the wheel as your current wheels. To check this, put a bolt into the wheel hole on one of the new wheels, and measure how much it sticks through he back of the wheel. Then do this with the same bolt on one of your stock wheels. The difference is how much longer you need new bolts to be. You'll need new bolts to be the same diameter/thread pitch as your current bolts, and they need to have to have a seat (the surface right under the head) which matches the new wheels. The seat surface should probably be conical for both your existing and new wheels. Bolts can be $3-$5 each, so it won't be cheap to buy a new set. But, if the wheels don't touch anything and look good to you, I'd try going ahead with it.

Listen to Buell. Wrong offset.
Not worth bothering with.
You want wheels from a C Class, or a CLK if you're going Original Equip.
E, S, and CLS won't fit.

WRONG OFFSET I beleive that the S class are around 46 and C class are around 36.
While spacers and new bolts may work, who needs the hastles. I think that they will just look odd on your car. Stick with C class if you want OEM look, even CLK has a different offset but atleast it is much closer and will work.
Finally most S class wheels are not that nice looking to start with, especially the 16"ers

i think you would get a better answer if you tell us what the offset is on those wheels. If its like the ones i just sold the offset is 46, in which case do what i did and sell them. While a spacer might have helped it also would have stuck the wheel outside of the car, trust me i just went through it, dont bother with it just sell them.
