Need help installing an RCA converter or a sub.
hello all. this is my first post. so i just want to add an amp and sub to my stock head unit. i've tried searching for some advice in installing an RCA converter and had no luck. can anyone help me in installing the converter? i have no idea where to start.

am not sure if this might help you but i have a 2001 C320 with BOSE system and when they installed a Sub and amp in my car they tap into the Factory Subwoofer the Purple Color wire that at the Bose Amp.

1993 Mercedes 300e 4-matic (m103 motor)
theres somethign called a hi/low pass, basically what it does is theres an input and output for speakers. So you would need two fo these. Left sie cut the speaker wire goign to the rear left speaker, and sttach it to the input of the hi.low pass. And connect the output to the speaker. And ont he box you also have 1 rca output. So you woudl have to repeat on the rear right side as well. basically what it does is seperates the hi/frequency and sends that to the speakers whiel sendign the low frequency to the sub woofer amp. I've doen this for some clients and although you dont; have as much control over the subs and it doesn;t sound super great, it works if you want to keep the factory head unit.
I'm pretty sure this woudl work with tht ebose or HK as long as neither is fiber optic
