Give the buttons a hard solid punch and everything will be just fine!! Sometimes you cant treat things too gently!!
Eletrical gremlins still havent left - I am having radio problems again, third time to the dealer for the same problem. I dont know if it is the radio now, since one of my friends who drives a Harley Davidson F150 pickup says that he is getting the same sort of problems with his stock radio as I am listening to the same stations. Frustrating.

That's surprising, the F150 is a much more reliable car than the MB. Maybe HD added their own gremlins to give it that HD feel.
yo buell - how bout the Ford Focus...damn that thing sux - every time its tested it wins - does great - beats all other cars - but they NEVER recommend it becuz reliability SUCKS.
The F150 - I would think it would be bullet proof by now after all the refining they've done to it.

You don't find these kind of problems in Ford F150s, because it's been only recently that Ford realized that consumers might actually want power windows in their pick-up trucks.
Buellwinkle, perhaps you should buy an F150 yourself. Easier for you to pick that 1,800 pound sack of negativity from your shoulders and throw it in the pick-up bed to haul it around with you...
None of the issues in this thread are related to "reliability." No one is writing that they have been stranded by a car that won't start, or a car that dies in traffic, tranny locks up, engine exploded, suspension failed, etc. These issues are electrical gremlins, only.

you tell'em Bob...
(I'm trying to keep my own negativity towards MB in check...but difficult sometimes with my car probs.
), but I would check what is regulating the voltage in the electrical system. On my old volvo (mind you it had 260,000 miles) the wiring wasn't too good anymore, and for some reason this made the radio only work in AM mode, and dash lights would often flicker.
